Parking sensors

The old lexus we had had parking sensors and they were a lifesaver. My kona doesn't have them, so I was wondering if they can be added? It's a 2023 SE trim, so what are the options? And yes, I can use tools and I can install them myself if needed, thank you very much

Yes, absolutely! You can definitely add aftermarket parking sensors to your 2023 Kona SE, and it's a common DIY project. I've used ultrasonic sensor kits, it's quite easy, or you can use the electromagnetic (invisible) sensor kits

I completely agree! A little while ago, I put an aftermarket ultrasonic kit on my old Civic. It worked like a charm, but I had to be cautious when connecting to the reverse light circuit since it powered some LEDs as well. I made sure to double-check the voltage compatibility before hooking everything up, and it's been reliable ever since.

It's definitely a good idea to confirm that on the Kona first.
