My brother's Kona has a USB-C port and I tried loading up a 256GB drive with music. The system keeps resetting and I'm wondering if there's a max size limit. Anyone know what works best without issues?

I should have known packing a giant 256GB drive was too good to be true. I will grab a 64GB drive, format it to exFAT, and see if that does the trick. Does the total number of files on the drive cause problems, too?

Thanks for this! I had a hunch the file count might be throwing a wrench in the works, so I'll try trimming things down and flattening the folder structure a bit. If the Kona's got a file cap baked in, no point stuffing it like a Thanksgiving turkey. Does anyone know if that 5000-file limit I saw floating around is accurate?

Not sure about the 2023 and if there's a change from the 2022 model, but I have a 32 gig usb that's fat32 and it's working fine. Have you checked the manual about this?
